Educational Technology Tools

On this page, I will be briefly explain the Educational Technology tools I learn in my Technology of Instruction class. I will briefly describe the tools I learn here, but if you would like a more in-depth response and examples, I direct you to the subpages under this tab.

Quizzizz-

Quizzizz allows you to create an interactive quiz for you students to engage them and asses them at the same time.

Wizer-

Wizer allows you to create an interactive worksheet for your students. Better yet, you can make a PDF of your worksheet interactive by uploading it to the website.

Bitmoji Classroom-

Bitmoji classroom lets teachers insert their own Bitmoji into an interactive classroom. You can choose a layout and the items you want to have in the room. You can also embed links within the classroom.

Canva-

Canva allows you to design and create anything from a poster to a infographic. You can work off of an already designed template or start from scratch.

Nearpod-

Nearpod allows you to make a interactive slideshow for your students. You can use others pre-made presentations or you can create your own easily.

Google Classroom-

Google Classroom is a wonderful way to engage our students and make sure they are completing assignments. It is super easy to use as a teacher and it is easily navigable for students.

Jamboard-

Jamboard allows you to create a digital slideshow to use in the classroom. It is incredibly easy to create one and it is easy for students to use as well.

Google Certifications-

Google training was such a valuable experience and helped so much with our professional development. It is so important to learn how to use the very common tech tools so that we can utilize in our classroom.

Podcast-

Listening to podcasts is a great way to broaden your knowledge and improve your teaching based off of what other teachers use and share about.

Webinar-

Webinars are another way of expanding your professional knowledge and serving the workforce. The more we know about things and expand our knowledge, the more we are able to share with co-workers and serve the profession

Having Microsoft Certifications is extremely helpful to have. It is such a good resume booster and by learning about Microsoft, we are learning how to further serve our students.
