Danielson Framework

Nearpod is a website where you can make an interactive slideshow for your students. It is quite easy to navigate. Nearpod provides many activities that you can add your content to. Students can interact with the slideshow individually and it is a great way to assess your students knowledge.

This relates to domain 3 component 3c, specifically the third element. It is titled "Activities and Assignments" We are creating activities that are engaging to the students, and assessing them at the same time.

My Future Use

I will definitely be using Nearpod in my future classroom. I found it incredibly easy to navigate and easy to create an activity. The activity templates Nearpod provides are good and they are easy to edit to input your own content.

4C's

This website relates to a few of the 4C's, creativity and collaboration. Teachers must be creative by creating this slideshow and making it engaging/interesting for the students. Students must collaborate and work together on the assignment or work individually. For some activities, students must work together to do well.

ISTE Standards

It relates to ISTE Standards for Educators 2.5. 2.5 is titled Designer. Educators design authentic, learner-driven activities and environments that recognize and accommodate learner variability. Teachers must se technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.
